Two Year Old Program
The Trike Stop's two year old program is divided into two classrooms, both with a 1:5 ratio. Each classroom is provided three meals a day, outside activities (rain or shine),
sensory activities, art activities and circle time. Circle times include: music and movement, dancing,
flannel board stories, singing songs and reading books.
The teachers facilitate pre-planned activities each day that help promote cognitive, small motor and
large motor development. The children participate in “Music Dave” twice a
month. Music Dave comes to our center and plays guitar for the children to sing and dance to. He also
provides exotic instruments and teaches the children about where the instrument came from and the
culture surrounding it. Parents can also elect to sign their children up for Happy Feet starting in these classrooms. More information about Happy Feet can be found by clicking here.
